Reported Liverpool transfer target Harvey Elliott was in the stands for the Reds’ pre season clash with Tranmere Rovers, according to journalist Ian Doyle.

Certainly, Elliott is by all accounts about to become a Liverpool player.

This comes after Goal reported earlier this week that the Fulham midfielder, the Premier League’s youngest ever player, is on the verge of signing for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

He’s already brought in a 17-year-old centre back in Sepp van den Berg, and now it seems he is on the verge of signing a 16-year-old as well.

Now he’s in the stands at a Liverpool game.

The Liverpool Echo reporter revealed the news on his personal Twitter account, claiming that the 16-year-old was in attendance at Prenton Park on Thursday.

Elliott is no regular 16-year-old, though, and you know Klopp wouldn’t bring him in unless he feels he’s got a big future with the European champions.
