Harvey Elliott’s Liverpool future has been under scrutiny ever since he came back from the Under-21 Euros with England.
However, now that Ryan Gravenberch has found his feet at Liverpool and has become an impressive defensive midfielder, there isn’t a guaranteed spot for either in Slot’s starting XI, which is why Elliott is being linked with moves away.
He was the star of the show at the Under-21 Euros, with the midfielder one of the main reasons why Lee Carsley’s men came away with the trophy.
“Provides experienced cover on both sides and it’s not an expensive deal.
“West Ham still in hunt for Harvey Elliott but will depend on asking price”
Although Elliott was a key cog in Klopp’s system when he was in charge, the midfielder hasn’t yet been the standout player in a team.
“Think you can see with the signing of Diouf what Kyle Macaulay is about, so don’t overreact if Elliott proves too expensive.
Other attacking targets identified.”
Only time will tell what the future has in store for Elliott, but if he does get a big-money move to the London Stadium from Liverpool, there’s no doubt that he’d excel and help rebuild Potter’s men.
