Transfer deadline day has kicked off early for Liverpool after a deal was agreed to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle.
The Reds beat Arsenal on Sunday before going on to commit £125m towards the addition of Isak.
With news of the transfer arriving overnight, Liverpool fans have woken up anticipating an excellent day for the club.
Reports suggest Isak is set to sign a six-year contract and will arrive as the most expensive British transfer of all time.
But Liverpool are hopefully not finished there.
After seeing him score a lovely goal for Crystal Palace on Sunday, the Reds are still in conversations to sign Marc Guehi.
Guehi’s move is seemingly dependent on Palace finding a suitable replacement, however, and is not guaranteed to happen.
With the clock very much ticking, Liverpool’s chances of landing the centre-back have been assessed.

Although talk of Isak joining Liverpool will understandably dominate deadline day, Guehi’s arrival will arguably be of equal importance to the Reds.
Arne Slot provided a positive injury update on Ibrahima Konate after the Frenchman limped out of the win over Arsenal on Sunday.
But he still cannot be fully relied upon to stay fit.

As a result, a signing like Guehi is very much needed and would complete the Liverpool squad after a busy summer.
And according to journalist Lewis Steele, there remains a ‘good chance’ that the 25-year-old will end up with the Reds.

“Liverpool getting closer to an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign their captain Marc Guehi,” late on Sunday evening.
“Told tonight that there is a good chance of a deal happening.
Palace holding out for £35m plus £5m add-on.”
After virtually no links away all summer long, stories emerged on Sunday that Joe Gomez could leave Liverpool on deadline day.
Gomez’s potential exit appears to be intrinsically linked to Guehi possibly arriving, but according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are ‘confident’ of signing the long-term Liverpool defender.
“AC Milan are confident to agree terms with Liverpool for Joe Gomez,” Romano posted on Sunday evening.
“As soon as Liverpool get deal done for Marc Guehi, if Palace approve it.”
While there will be real sadness at seeing Gomez depart Liverpool – if that happens – Guehi coming in to replace him would really soften the blow.
