Jude Bellingham has already told Arne Slot everything he needs to know about Real Madrid team-mate Rodrygo, as Liverpool have reportedly shown an interest in the Galactico.

While Rodrygo has impressed with Los Blancos, he is not thought to be on the same level as team-mates Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe, and has seen his game time wane slightly as a result.

For example, as Real Madrid were humbled 4-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final of the Club World Cup earlier this month, Rodrygo remained on the bench for a fifth-consecutive match.

Meanwhile, the Gunners recently completed the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea in a £48.5m move, which may see Mikel Arteta abandon his pursuit of Rodrygo given the Englishman can play on the left, and Bukayo Saka will seemingly hold his place on the right.

At Anfield, meanwhile, Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer, with Bayern Munich currently leading in the race to secure the left-winger's signature.

That is despite the Reds telling the Bavarians that the Colombian was not for sale when they tabled an opening bid of £58.6m.

Should a move away come to fruition, the current Premier League champions may opt to enquire about Rodrygo - especially given his agent has reputedly claimed that the club are, in fact, interested despite no contact being made as of yet.

And should Slot opt as Rodrygo as a good fit at Anfield, his Real Madrid team-mate Bellingham has already told the Dutchman what he can expect from the 24-year-old.

You put them in positions where they can affect the games, and they will win it for you."

Liverpool seemingly would not be put off by Real Madrid's asking price for Rodrygo at present, especially should they secure a substantial sum for the sale of Diaz.

A £40m deal for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez then ensued in Liverpool's third and final transfer of the summer thus far.

While Liverpool have reportedly chased Alexander Isak's signature for the best part of the window, reluctance from Newcastle United to sell their Swedish talisman has left them exploring other avenues, now closing in on a £79m move for Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitikie.

The 23-year-old centre-forward found the back of the net 15 times and set up a further eight in the Bundesliga last season, and will bring a wealth of European experience to Merseyside with him given his prolificness in the Europa League.
