Recent reports from Italian media suggest that Jurgen Klopp has agreed to become AS Roma’s new manager, marking a surprising return to football management almost exactly one year after his departure from Liverpool.

According to Italian publication La Stampa, Klopp had reportedly given his approval to take charge of the Serie A side.

The German coach, who left Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season citing concerns about “running out of energy,” appears to have had a change of heart regarding his break from management.

But now Jurgen Klopp’s agent, Mark Kosicke, has now come out to deny the reports, saying to Winwin Sports:

“The news about Klopp becoming Roma’s next head coach is not true.”
