Liverpool could do with a midfielder, and a name that is familiar to those who studiously trawl through the rumor mill has emerged once more for Jürgen Klopp. Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge, according to reporter is set to be the subject of a battle between Liverpool and Chelsea (as if the latter have not signed enough players already this month).

Berge has never left Sheffield United since they got relegated, but is persistently linked with a move to a big club. And Klopp has spoken highly of him in the past.



Links have been there with Liverpool since Berge played for Genk.



Then last summer, rumors that Liverpool was keeping an eye on Berge returned.



These rumors, then, have never come to anything, but have also never gone away.
