Despite Jürgen Klopp's best attempts to play it down, his run-in with Mohamed Salah continues to dominate the headlines.
Benched for the second time in three games, the Liverpool talisman was no doubt nursing plenty of frustration.
Even so, there's no justifying his behavior, especially not with Klopp now into his final three games as Liverpool boss.
Ending on a sour note would not sit right at all.

Salah arguably made things worse by saying there would be 'fire' if he spoke to journalists in the mixed zone.
As long as he's able to front up to that and put it behind him, rather than letting it linger, there shouldn't be any more problems.
But he has to accept that throwing a strop will not make him an automatic pick for Klopp's final few games.
Salah has not delivered on the pitch when needed, and while his anger-fueled West Ham cameo delivered one excellent driving run, he's largely failed to make an impact when called upon lately.
Arne Slot will inherit an awkward situation.
A question that looked so clear-cut in the first half of the season is now trickier, and significant Saudi interest in Salah this summer will give Liverpool a decision to make.
