Jurgen Klopp has offered his congratulations to Liverpool and Arne Slot after their title win(Image: Premier League)
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has taken to social media to offer his congratulations to Arne Slot and the Reds after they clinched the Premier League title with four games to spare at the weekend.
Klopp, 57, spent just shy of nine years in the Anfield hotseat before stepping down at the end of last season.
He won Liverpool's 19th domestic title during his tenure, plus the Champions League and both domestic cups, meaning Slot had some mighty big shoes to fill.
The former Feyenoord chief has enjoyed a stunning debut season, though, establishing Liverpool as England's top team.
And after watching Slot sing his name on the Anfield pitch in the wake of Sunday's 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham, Klopp has toasted Liverpool's latest title triumph on Instagram.
Alongside a snap of the weekend's celebrations, Klopp wrote: "Super grateful for the past, super, super happy about the present, extremely positive about the future!
Thank You Luv."

Klopp recently teased that he was planning to return to Merseyside for the first time in next month's season finale vs Crystal Palace: the match where Liverpool would be officially crowned as champions should they win the league.
Speaking at a fundraiser in Cape Town back in March, Klopp confirmed: "Yes, the plan is [to be in Liverpool] but not on the bus, I will be there with the people I saw on the bus.

"That's the idea to be honest, but we will see.
The only thing now is to send my appreciation to Jurgen Klopp,” Slot told Liverpool TV, before chanting “Jurgen Klopp, na, na, na, na."
He continued: “The way we arrived on the bus, everyone was thinking there is no way we were going to lose this game.
