There's a lot of prestige that comes with Champions League football. The Europa League does not have all the glitz and glamor of the but it could still be a hugely beneficial competition for side as they will look to take one step back in order to take two steps forward. In particular, having football could be especially beneficial for integrating some of exciting talents from the academy. One club which has done this with distinction over the last few years has been Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.

The Gunners have used the Europa League, especially the early rounds of the competition, as an opportunity to blood Arsenal's young stars.
