Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that possessing an "unlimited" transfer budget would make a manager's job considerably easier, despite never having that luxury himself.
The German coach currently serves as head of soccer for the Red Bull Group following his departure from Anfield last summer.
Arne Slot took over the reins and subsequently guided the Reds to their second Premier League crown and 20th top-flight championship.
The Reds have also been busy in the summer transfer market, with the headline acquisitions being Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
Liverpool spent around $600 million this summer revamping its squad.
While Klopp received support during his tenure at the helm of the Reds, his expenditure never approached this summer's massive outlay.
When 433 posed the question of whether he would choose unlimited training time or an unlimited transfer budget, Klopp responded: "Sorry, I cannot decide.
.
"My preferred situation would have been unlimited budget and then unlimited time to train.
Both is not possible.
"Coaches need more time to train, definitely, but unlimited budget makes life much easier
It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it.
"I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work
