Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to fans in a heart-warming message posted across Liverpool’s social media handles.

Klopp left Liverpool about a year ago, after a nine-year stint that saw him win several trophies, including the Reds’ first Premier League title.

In the 219/20 season, Liverpool secured the title with seven games to go, making them the quickest team to win the Premier League title.

However, fans did not have the chance to celebrate the title win with the players at Anfield because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Things will be different this time, though, with a full ceremony set to be held at Anfield on Sunday.

The club has already announced that legendary Liverpool captain Alan Hansen will present the trophy to Virgil van Dijk, and further details about the ceremony have also been announced.

Pre-match festivities include a mosaic display in the Kop and Lower Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, while Friday’s LFC Foundation gala—featuring Jurgen Klopp and club legends—kicks off the celebratory weekend.

In a video posted on Liverpool’s social media channel, Klopp confirmed that he is back in the city for the club’s gala.

He also revealed that he will “try to be part of the celebration as much as the fans let him.”

“Hello, so now I’m back, back in Liverpool,” Klopp said.

“Back here in the wonderful cathedral.

And, yeah, for the Liverpool Foundation, finally.

“LFC Foundation, finally.

See you, bye.”

The club confirmed details for Monday’s victory parade, ensuring a weekend of celebrations for players and supporters alike.

Klopp had earlier revealed that he would be part of the parade.

“Yes, the plan is [to be in Liverpool] but not on the bus, I will be there with the people I saw on the bus [when Liverpool had their last trophy parade],” Klopp said back in March.

“That’s the idea to be honest, but we will see.

“I think I will be there for the last game.
