Jurgen Klopp has commented on having an unlimited transfer budget in the transfer window (Image: Martin Rickett/PA Wire)Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that having an ‘unlimited’ transfer budget makes a manager’s life much easier – even though he never experienced it himself.
The Reds have also been active in the summer transfer window, with the standout deals being Florian Wirtz, who moved for £116 million, and then the deadline day signing of Alexander Isak, who cost £125 million.

Freddie Woodman, Giovanni Leoni, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike also made the move to Merseyside.
While Klopp was backed during his time in charge of the Reds, his spending didn’t get anywhere near to the summer’s outlay.
And when asked by 433 if he would prefer unlimited training time or an unlimited transfer budget, Klopp replied: “Sorry I cannot decide.
My preferred situation would have been unlimited budget and then unlimited time to train.
Both is not possible.
“Coaches need more time to train definitely, but unlimited budget makes life much easier.
Not from experience just from…I heard about it.”
