Jurgen Klopp believes that Florian Wirtz's time at Liverpool is going to be "great" after the German finalized his move to Anfield on Friday.

The Reds agreed a club-record fee with Bayer Leverkusen on June 13, before the player traveled to the UK on June 19 ahead of his medical the following day.

Wirtz's arrival was officially confirmed on June 20, and the following day Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was asked for his take on the Reds' new signing.

"This is going to be absolutely fantastic, I’m sure of it," Klopp said in an interview with RTL/ntv on Saturday.
