Jurgen Klopp has promised Liverpool fans there will be a parade to celebrate winning the Premier League when it is safe to do so.

Liverpool are 25 points clear at the top of the table and are two wins away from securing their first league title since 1990.Matches will resume behind closed doors on June 17 with Liverpool taking on Everton in the Merseyside derby on the first weekend back.

Social distancing guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic mean that supporters are not allowed to gather outside stadiums.

The measures also prevent Liverpool from having a parade in the immediate future to celebrate winning the title.

According to Liverpool boss Klopp, supporters will be included in the celebrations once lockdown restrictions are lifted.

Klopp told the BBC: 'You celebrate always, wherever it is.

'I can promise if it happens there will be a parade as well.
