Jurgen Klopp claims Liverpool must “throw themselves” into the Premier League after being dumped out of Europe by Atalanta.

Klopp was pleased Liverpool won by a clean sheet to end their damaging two-game losing run, but was disappointed to exit the Europa League.

“It’s mixed emotions,” said the Liverpool boss.

“We would have wished that we could have gone to Dublin and the final, but that hasn’t happened.

That will be a different game, but it will be tricky.”

Captain Virgil van Dijk says Liverpool cannot feel sorry for themselves because Fulham looms large on Sunday.

“We’re disappointed to be out of the competition as we really wanted to win it,” he said.
