Jurgen Klopp has once again opened up on his public altercation with Mohamed Salah during last weekend’s draw with West Ham United.
The two clashed on the sidelines just before Salah was set to be brought on as a substitute for the Reds, with the 31-year-old showing signs of frustration at being introduced late into the game.
Tempers flared, and Darwin Nunez stepped in to defuse the situation, guiding Salah away from the confrontation.
Klopp addressed the incident after the match, stating that he had spoken with Salah in the dressing room and considered the matter resolved.
However, Salah made further headlines when he walked through the mixed zone at the London Stadium, refusing an interview request from reporters and cryptically stating ‘there will be fire’ if he spoke.
Both Klopp and Salah appeared in good spirits during training on Thursday at AXA Training Centre.
Speaking to the media for the first time since Salah’s response in the mixed zone, Klopp once again played down the incident ahead of Liverpool’s home clash with Tottenham on Sunday.
“It’s completely resolved.
It all depends on each other.”
On Mohamed Salah’s future at the club, Klopp added: “The player is incredible but I don’t think I should speak about that.
I just try to provide the basis?
“These decisions will be made by other people.”
