Jurgen Klopp says he is feeling "extremely positive about the future" at Liverpool after his former club were confirmed as Premier League champions on Sunday.
The Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 on Sunday to wrap up the title and end a 35-year wait for supporters to be able to celebrate a championship triumph inside Anfield.
Klopp guided the Reds to their 19th crown five years ago as the stadium held a trophy lift under COVID-19 restrictions, which meant that only around 500 people were permitted to be in the ground on the night they beat Chelsea 5-3 in July 2020.

It's 11 months since the legendary German walked away to make room for Arne Slot in the Anfield dugout but Federico Chiesa aside, the squad remains full of players signed by Klopp during his time in charge.
And in an Instagram post on Monday afternoon, the 2019 Champions League winner says he is looking forward to what comes next under Slot, in what is his first message to his former club since they were confirmed as Premier League champions.

"Super grateful for the past," Klopp wrote with an accompanying image of the players and staff in arms in front of the Kop at full time on Sunday.
"Super, super happy about the present, extremely positive about the future!
The black-tie event, which will be held at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, and in partnership with Forever Reds, sees Klopp present as the charity's first official honorary ambassador.

With the May 23 event coming just two days before the final game of the campaign against Crystal Palace, it raises the prospect of Klopp being present at Anfield for the Premier League trophy lift.
