It has been a very good start to the new season for Liverpool in terms of results. Sure, Jürgen Klopp would have preferred not to have needed to come from behind twice, but 13 points from a possible 15 is a good opening five matches. It remains to be seen whether the draw with was a good point or a missed opportunity, but considering Liverpool has had two red cards and several injury disruptions already, it cannot be too displeased with being inside the top four spots. The picture is already looking good and has won in a variety of ways: via some heroics, a comfortable and controlled home win against Aston Villa, and now a come-from-behind victory away at Wolves. That is all good news for Liverpool but the best could be yet to come.
That is never going to be every week but when the Spaniard is back, that can only be a good thing for Liverpool.
So while the season has begun very well for Liverpool, there is much more to come from Klopp's already large and talent-packed squad.
