Jurgen Klopp’s incredible Liverpool team can set even more records on Sunday when Leicester visit Anfield for a top-of-the-table Premier League clash.

This is the joint-longest run in the club’s history, equalling a run set between February 1978 and December 1980 under legendary manager Bob Paisley.

And if Liverpool avoid defeat to Leicester on Sunday evening, Klopp will break Paisley’s record and be out in front in the history books with 64 home league matches unbeaten.

Jamie Vardy has netted seven goals in 11 Premier League matches against the Anfield giants, with only Andy Cole (11) and Thierry Henry (8) scoring more against the Reds in the competition.

Klopp replaced Rodgers in the Anfield dugout and he’s guided the Reds back to their former glories, winning the Champions League in 2019 and adding a first ever Premier League title one year later.

Reigning champions Liverpool take on the Foxes – the current league leaders – with Brendan Rodgers returning to Merseyside to go head-to-head with his former club.

The Foxes have history on their side, and also boast a striker with an insane record against Liverpool.
