A report from Italy emerged on Monday night claiming that The Friedkin Group, who also own Everton, had agreed a deal with Klopp to become the new head coach of the Serie A side.
According to La Stampa, Klopp is set to make a shock return to the dugout at Roma after being identified as a top target by the Friedkin ownership group 'some time ago'.
However, responding to those claims on Tuesday, Marc Kosicke, the German's agent, told Winwinallsports: “The news about Klopp becoming Roma’s next head coach is not true.”
The 57-year-old quit Liverpool at the end of last season after a successful nine-year reign in which the club won the Champions League and the Premier League to take a break from the dugout.

However, he would make his return to football in January when he started as Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, but speaking at the time, Klopp made clear that he will not become manager at one of the Red Bull clubs.
"I will not be the coach of a Red Bull team," the Kop icon said.
I hope we can create a structure where these questions will not come up at all."
