Chambers made his senior Liverpool debut in 2023/24, eventually playing four times under Jurgen Klopp.
The 20-year-old then spent the second-half of the season with Wigan Athletic, where he earned a strong reputation as one of the Latics most important players.
Chambers had offers from the Championship last summer but opted to join Wigan again in order to continue his development there.
Unfortunately, things haven’t gone to plan this time with injury badly disrupting the full-back.

But after becoming a mainstay, Chambers picked up an injury in October which ruled him out of action until early March.

It has indeed been a really disappointing season for Chambers.
All in all he managed only 13 appearances for Wigan.
Turning 21 this summer, there is still time for him to head somewhere else next season and stay on track for long-term involvement in the Liverpool squad.
However, with Liverpool’s left-back situation up for grabs this summer, a strong season at Wigan could have given Chambers the opportunity to really throw his hat in the ring.
