Bournemouth players shared their reactions after yet another teammate confirmed his departure during what has been a summer of exits on the south coast.
It has been a period of major transition for Andoni Iraola’s side, who are rebuilding despite coming off the back of their highest-ever Premier League points tally last season.
The window began with Dean Huijsen sealing a move to Real Madrid in June which set the tone for a series of high-profile departures.
Since then, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez have also left the side.
In recent days, long-serving figures such as Chris Mepham and Philip Billing have also left Bournemouth, and now another exit has been confirmed, further underlining the scale of change Iraola is overseeing.

With several exits already confirmed this summer, Bournemouth have sanctioned another as Hamed Traore has joined Marseille on loan, with an obligation to buy included in the deal.
The club confirmed the move through their official Instagram account, which prompted plenty of reaction from his former teammates.
Justin Kluivert, along with new signings Amine Adli and Bafode Diakite, were among those to show support by liking the post.

Traore himself originally arrived at the Vitality Stadium in January 2023 on a similar arrangement, signing on loan from Sassuolo before the move was made permanent later that year.
However, the Ivorian midfielder has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, featuring in just 11 Premier League matches since making his switch permanent.
With Adli and Ben Doak both joining Bournemouth this summer, competition for places has increased further, leading to Traore’s departure.

As the transfer window edges towards its close, Bournemouth may still face another key decision regarding David Brooks.
Reports have suggested that Crystal Palace made an approach to sign Brooks, though their bid has been rejected as the Cherries want to keep the Welsh winger.
Brooks remains viewed as an important part of Iraola’s plans, and the club are now in talks to extend his contract in order to fend off interest from elsewhere.
