Manchester City may see another high-profile exit in the coming months, with Juventus the latest club to reportedly show an interest.

Pep Guardiola has overseen a summer rebuild at the Etihad this summer, with a number of notable names leaving the side following the club’s unprecedented period of success.

Man City let Kevin De Bruyne run down his contract, whilst also selling Ederson, Kyle Walker and Ilkay Gundogan.

In turn, the club have backed the coach with numerous new signings such as Gianluigi Donnarumma, Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri, among others.

With many of the players Guardiola has relied on over the years now departed, another player continues to be linked with an exit, with Juventus entering the frame for his signature.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport, Juventus “will attempt” to sign Bernardo Silva on a free transfer, with his contract expiring in 2026.

Foreign clubs are allowed to speak to players entering the final six months of their contract from January, and the Italian giants are reportedly targeting the Portuguese midfielder.

The future of the midfielder appears to still be undecided as former chief scout Mick Brown revealed that Guardiola is open to letting Silva leave, while the club appear more eager for him to stay.

Still, with no advanced contract talks in place, the club have only a few months before Silva is allowed to speak to foreign clubs regarding a move on a free transfer, and Juventus have joined the queue.

While the summer window has ended, the focus has already turned to January, as City are still keen to add to their defence, targeting Tino Livramento.

However, they have faced a blow in their pursuit as Football Insider reported that Newcastle are set to offer Livramento a new contract to fend off any interest.

It is believed there is confidence from the North East club that the right-back will commit his future, dealing a potential blow to City’s transfer plans.
