David Sullivan and Karren Brady clearly cannot come to a consensus over who should replace Graham Potter at West Ham.

Crystal Palace secured a 2-1 win over West Ham away from home on Saturday, 20 September, piling even more pressure on the Hammers boss, with his side currently sitting 18th in the Premier League table.

Football Insider revealed that before facing the Eagles, West Ham’s next four games were crucial for Potter, and losing all three points to Oliver Glasner is unlikely to have done him any favours.

He has won just six of his 25 matches in charge since replacing Julen Lopetegui in January, and his arrival was already greeted by multiple disgruntled supporters at the London Stadium.

It was revealed during the week that West Ham were in talks with Nuno Espirito Santo over a quick return to Premier League management, and now it has emerged who was behind those talks.

According to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook (20 September), Brady has met with Espirito Santo and Gary O’Neil in recent weeks, considering either as a replacement for Potter in the dugout.

Sullivan, however, is far more keen on former Hammers manager Slaven Bilic as his preferred replacement, and supporters are desperate for a change as fan protests continue at the London Stadium.

Bilic departed East London in 2017, last managing in England with Watford in March 2023, before he left for Al Fateh in Saudi Arabia.

He has now been without a managerial job for over a year.

With six wins in 25 matches, the former Brighton and Chelsea manager has a measly 24 per cent win rate during his time with the Hammers.

It’s absolutely pathetic.

In terms of historical significance, Gianfranco Zola recorded a 28 per cent win rate during his time at the club between 2008 and 2010.

David Moyes did slightly better in his first reign with 29 per cent.

Avram Grant is also infamous for his time with the Hammers, and now, Potter could go down as one of the worst managers in West Ham’s history, especially if he is sacked in the next few days.

It has been made abundantly clear what the supporters want, and with both Brady and Sullivan on the search, they are looking to make a change as quickly as possible.
