A host of Premier League clubs have been tracking Kelleher’s situation on Merseyside but Brentford now look set to win the race for his signature.
Thomas Frank’s side are in the market for a new stopper after agreeing a reported £8.5 million sale of Mark Flekken to Bayer Leverkusen this weekend.
Kelleher has emerged as the Dutchman’s direct replacement with the Bees currently negotiating with the Premier League champions over his transfer.
Liverpool are set to command an initial £12.5M fee for the 26-year-old’s move to west London with future add-ons seeing that figure potentially rise to £18M.
Kelleher made 67 appearances in all competitions to date after graduating from the club’s academy ranks and won every major honour available.
