Liverpool and Klopp are set for an emotional reunion as the legendary manager prepares to return to Merseyside for the title celebrations.
Jürgen Klopp may not have been at Anfield for Liverpool’s 5-1 title-clinching win over Spurs, but his presence is still being felt.
The German, who laid the foundation for Arne Slot’s success, congratulated the club after they lifted their 20th English league title, and confirmed he’ll be part of the celebrations later this month.
Klopp posted on Instagram:
“Super grateful for the past, super, super happy about the present, extremely positive about the future!
Congratulations – YNWA.”
He signed off with his famous phrase from his final game in charge:
“Thank You Luv.”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, Klopp never got to celebrate a league title in front of the fans.
He is also expected at Anfield on Sunday, May 25, to watch Liverpool’s final Premier League game against Crystal Palace, where Virgil van Dijk will lift the trophy.
But that’s not all.
Klopp also confirmed he’ll be among the crowds for the open-top victory parade on Monday, May 26, as the team celebrates their 20th league title with fans.
That’s the idea, to be honest.”
And in true Klopp fashion, he admitted he stayed away from Anfield during the run-in to avoid jinxing the title chase.
“I didn’t want to go earlier… If they’re winning all the time and the first time I’m in the stadium and they lose…so I go there when it’s decided!”
