Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website after the FA Cup final against Chelsea that he wishes that he had signed Thiago four years earlier.
Liverpool midfielder Thiago was superb in the final, and after the match, Klopp said that he told the Spain international midfielder that he would have signed him four years earlier had he know how good he is.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “And after the game I said to Thiago, if I would have known what a player you are, I would have signed you four years earlier.
He could obviously already play football pretty well but he learned running in Liverpool, that’s fine.”
In our opinion, Liverpool midfielder Thiago has been superb for the Reds, especially this season.
The Spain international midfielder had injury problems last season, and we did not see the best of him.
