Ronald Koeman has conceded that Barcelona will not be making any new additions in January amid interest in Georginio Wijnaldum, according to the Daily Mirror.

Instead, they will will wait till the summer to sign free agents with Manchester City’s, Eric Garcia, and Wijnaldum’s contracts expiring this summer.

The Liverpool midfielder is currently at loggerheads with the club over the contract discussions.

It looks increasingly likely that it will be his last season at Anfield.

The Dutchman has been allowed to begin negotiations with oversea clubs, since January.

Earlier this month, it had been reported that contract talks between the two representatives had broken down.
