Lucas Leiva sent a Tweet to Kostas Tsimikas after he scores the winning penalty for Liverpool in the FA Cup final.

Kostas Tsimikas stepped up to score the winning penalty in a shoot-out win over Chelsea at Wembley.

Tsimikas is certainly making that number proud.

Former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva took to Twitter to celebrate the moment, who of course wore the same no.21 shirt that Tsimikas does.

So to penalties we went and after Sadio Mané threw away the chance to win it, Tsimikas took Liverpool’s second bite at the cherry to secure the trophy.

Liverpool have won the FA Cup for the first time since 2006 and, of course, it’s their backup left-back who won it.

Liverpool’s last FA Cup final in 2012 saw them lose 2-1 to Chelsea and it was a game that Lucas didn’t play in.
