The concert dates for Lady Gaga and Guns n' Roses moved into summer 2021 when organisers hope they will be at least be able to welcome some crowd into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

One of the big additional revenue streams Tottenham Hotspur were hoping to realise in 2020 at their state of the art 62,850-seater new home was that of concerts and boxing events, namely from Lady Gaga, Guns n' Roses and Anthony Joshua's world title defence.

Everton's proposed move from their spiritual Goodison Park home to a new 52,888-seater stadium at Bramley Moore Dock has just moved a huge step closer.

Liverpool City Council have unanimously approved the project at a special planning committee meeting this morning, the proposals for the new stadium central to Everton owner Farhad Moshiri's longer term vision for the club beyond his heavy investment thus far.

The club, having been limited in its scope for revenue generation owing to the lack of development opportunities in and around Goodison Park, can take it to the levels that Moshiri would like.

Noted in the 200-page document pertaining to Liverpool City Council's recommendation that the Bramley Moore Dock proposals be approved are a number of other potential money spinners such as conferences, exhibitions, weddings, banqueting and stadium tours, all available to utilise for a varying number of days per year.

There are a host of other avenues that a new stadium opens up for Everton financially.
