Following the match, Nunez headed straight down the Anfield tunnel, much to the annoyance of fans.



In response to online criticism, he removed all Liverpool-related images from his Instagram account and appeared to block supporters who had expressed their displeasure.

This isn't the first time a Reds player has taken such drastic action on Instagram.

Dejan Lovren also deleted all traces of the club from his social media after facing criticism for his inconsistent performances under Jurgen Klopp.

Lovren, who was signed from Southampton for £20million, came under particular fire following a 4-1 defeat to Spurs in October 2017, where he was blamed for allowing Harry Kane to score Tottenham's second goal.

Klopp was so disappointed with his performance that he substituted him after just 30 minutes.

Following the defeat, Lovren removed all references to Liverpool from his Instagram bio, changed his profile picture and turned off comments on his account, reports the Mirror.

He spent two years with Zenit St Petersburg before moving to Lyon last year.
