Sky Germany reporter Florian Plenttenberg has provided an update on the future of Luis Diaz.

The Colombian’s future has been one of the most discussed subjects during this transfer window.

However, in recent weeks, news has emerged from Germany indicating that Bayern Munich is also interested in him.

According to the report from BILD’s Christian Falk, Bayern’s failed attempt to sign Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams has led them to turn their attention to Liverpool pair Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has now provided an update on Diaz, revealing that Bayern have gathered all the information on Diaz.

However, he stated that there have been no talks between Liverpool and Bayern over the winger, who could leave Anfield if a suitable offer arrives.

“Bayern are still looking for a top-class left winger, regardless of Nick Woltemade,” Plettenberg wrote on X.

“They have gathered all the information on 28 y/o Díaz, but there have not yet been any talks with Liverpool.

“Understand Díaz could leave #LFC if a suitable offer arrives.

In addition, Liverpool are also looking for a new winger?

Bayern are continuing to assess more and several options, with Díaz now on the list.”
