Leeds United have made contact with Liverpool to enquire about their forward Divock Origi, as per The Boot Room.

The Whites are thinking about signing the Belgian footballer if they don’t succeed in hiring Celtic star Odsonne Edouard.

The report claims that the 25-year-old wants to leave the club this summer as he wants more regular football action, and ideally would prefer a Premier League side.

He made 28 Premier League appearances last season but reports suggest that the Belgian is desperate to get more regular football action.

Since joining Liverpool in 2014, he has clocked up 140 appearances in all competitions so far, with 34 goals and 12 assists to his name.

The Whites need a good striker to compete with Patrick Bamford at Elland Road in the next campaign, and Origi looks to be a good fit for them.

At just 25, he can boast experience of playing at the top level and has enormous potential.
