Aberdeen have announced their 11th summer signing with the loan capture of Liverpool rising star Leighton Clarkson.
He is a ball playing midfielder who always makes himself available as an option for his teammates.
Dons boss Jim Goodwin has added the "ball playing midfielder" to his ranks for the rest of the season.
Goodwin said: “As you can imagine Leighton has had a very high standard of coaching within the LFC Academy and he has already represented Liverpool at first team level in the FA Cup and Champions League.
Aberdeen sold Calvin Ramsay to the Premier League giants earlier this summer and Liverpool were quick to praise the Pittodrie side following the defender's arrival.
And now Goodwin appears to have capitalised on those positive relations by bringing in 20-year-old Clarkson, who already has senior FA Cup and Champions League appearances to his name.
“We’re very grateful to Liverpool for their assistance in making this loan possible and hope they will see Aberdeen as a suitable club for some of their young prospects to continue their development in the future.”
