Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has hailed Trent Alexander-Arnold's passing ability and insisted the best is yet to come from the Liverpool star.
Alexander-Arnold was heavily criticised for his performances last season during a below-par season on a personal and collective level, with the focus often on the defensive ability of the 25-year-old during matches.
A shift in system from Jurgen Klopp in April of last year helped bring out the best of the West Derby-born defender, resulting in him taking up more advanced positions when in possession of the ball and having a greater attacking threat.
Alexander-Arnold's most lethal attribute remains his extraordinary ability to pick out team-mates from anywhere on the pitch, with his range of passing acting as the closest thing to the talent Steven Gerrard once offered in this department.

Recognising the supreme talent of the Reds' No.66, Walker told Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channe l: “Trent is a quarterback at right-back.
Left, right foot, snow on it, when it needs to have snow on it, or ping straight to the chest.
“The way Liverpool play where it’s very transitional.
I’m not saying it’s a long-ball team, but when you’ve got Salah on the right-hand side and you’re whipping that ball down his right-hand side, that’s what Trent’s very, very good at.
“I think people come at him for defending, but people can come at me for my crossing.
I think that will come.
He is always wanting to learn in training and with experience, that will definitely come."
Alexander-Arnold was a topic of conversation for Walker earlier this month after remarks made by the Liverpool vice-captain regarding trophies "meaning more" to the Reds than City.
