A lip reader is convinced he has worked out what was said in the exchange between Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp.
The duo clashed on the touchline just before Salah was brought on as a second half substitute in the 2-2 draw against West Ham at the weekend.
Darwin Nunez eventually had to intervene and stop the two from trading even more verbal blows.
Footage indicated that the fallout started after Klopp wasn’t satisfied with the handshake from his star man.
According to Sportbible via lip reader John Cassidy, Salah said: “There’s nothing I can do about that, nothing.”
Cassidy added that, though Klopp’s response was obscured, he indicated Salah was not ready as quickly as he would have liked him to be.
In some good news for the Reds, The Athletic revealed that Liverpool have no intention to sell the winger.
Salah is reaching the final 12 months of his contract and speculation has suggested he may leave, with rumours linking him to Saudi Arabia, however neither Salah nor Liverpool seem interested in making that happen.
