Arne Slot refused to provide an update on Jeremie Frimpong, as the wing-back’s move to Liverpool moves closer to completion.
The Reds are expected to wrap up a £29.5million deal for the Bayer Leverkusen star, activating his release clause as they move quickly to replace the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Reports on Monday night suggested that Frimpong has now completed his Liverpool medical, having agreed a five-year contract.
However, Slot was unsurprisingly tight-lipped when quizzed after his side’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton.
Asked whether he could confirm that Frimpong had undergone a medical, the Liverpool boss replied: “What do you think?
