Dominik Szoboszlai has been flooded with messages of support as he announced his wife has given birth to their first child.

In a joint announcement with Borka, the 24-year-old said: "Your birth means the world to me.

Former Reds' winger Luis Diaz, who now plays for Bayern Munich, was also one of the thousands to like the post.

Szoboszlai announced the news his wife was expecting in May when he shared a series of polaroid of the happy couple cradling Borka's blossoming baby bump.

The Hungarian was a mainstay in Arne Slot's side last season as the Reds went on to lift their 20th league title.

He went public with his wife Borka last summer around the time the 24-year-old captained his home country at the European Championships.

Szoboszlai's wife, Borka, obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management in 2022 from Corvinus University of Budapest and now has a successful career.

As well as being an influencer, she is a specialist in marketing and public relations.

And Curtis Jones became a dad for the first time last year.

Saffie announced the birth of their baby girl on October 15, 2024.
