The Liverpool FC supporter who apparently riled Diego Simeone at last night's match against Atletico Madrid has spoken out about the row.

Jonny Poulter clashed with the boss of the Spanish side at Anfield after Virgil van Dijk's late winner claimed a 3 - 2 victory in the Champions League.

The Argentinian coach was given a red card after the incident after he erupted in fury with the fury, who was stood directly next to the dugout.

He had earlier shared a clip of the incident, alongside the caption: "Do I get the assist?"

He has since taken to social media to post a short video as he shared his version of events.

When he went and done his press conference after the game, the Spanish media has asked him what was said.

"If it was racist, if it was regarding the Falklands War and all this rubbish.

There was never a mention of the Falklands War by me or anyone else.

"But the fact that he was asked it and he didn't answer the question, and he just got up and walked out.

I have to live with it as it exists all over the place all of the time.”
