Liverpool have confirmed they remain in contact with Merseyside Police and have issued their support to those "who have been affected by this serious incident".
A car drove into fans whilst they took part in the club's Premier League title-winning parade.
The air ambulance was also cleared but It is still unclear as to how many people have been injured.
The Premier League champions have been quick to address the incident and said: "We are in direct contact with Merseyside Police regarding the incident on Water Street which happened towards the end of the trophy parade earlier this evening.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this serious incident.
We will continue to offer our full support to the emergency services and local authorities who are dealing with this incident."

Prime minister Sir Keir Starmer has labelled the scene in Liverpool as "appalling" as the Labour leader came out to condemn the incident as he said: "The scenes in Liverpool are appalling — my thoughts are with all those injured or affected.
