The Liverpool FC commercial department has once again brokered a new deal for the club.

It follows a year of widened Liverpool’s sponsorship portfolio beyond the traditional shirt and kit deals, courting sectors as diverse as technology, logistics and consumer goods

Last August, the club announced a multi-year deal reinstating Lucozade as LFC’s global sports-drink partner, including prominent branding at Anfield and across training facilities.

Last month, the Anfield club also entered into a five-year deal with Japan’s leading fashion retailer, BAYCREWS, to expand LFC merchandise distribution in Asia.

And now the newest recruit comes from the fast-moving world of online trading: EC Markets, a London-headquartered broker founded in 2012 and already regulated by the UK’s FCA, Australia’s ASIC and five other authorities

EC Markets is a global online brokerage firm that lets individuals trade a variety of financial instruments – most notably forex (currency pairs) and CFDs on commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies – in a single platform.

Supporters will first see the brand on the pitch-side LED boards when Athletic Club visit for the pre-season double-header on 4 August, with additional digital inventory across Liverpool’s global channels to follow.
