Taylor Swift and her ‘Swifties’ will be descending on the city of Liverpool this week ahead of her performance at Anfield.

The American pop sensation has been on her ‘Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour’ since March 2023, her sixth concert tour.

It celebrates her extensive music career from her debut album to her latest releases.

The tour kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, and has since traveled across the United States, Latin America, and now Europe.

The tour, praised for its elaborate production and immersive experience, is set to conclude in December 2024 in Vancouver, Canada.

Liverpool FC will host the 100th show of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, with Jurgen Klopp revealing that his wife secured tickets for both of them to attend the concert.

Many Liverpool supporters will likely keep an eye out for Klopp if they attend the Taylor Swift performance.

Anfield first ventured into hosting concerts in the summer of 2019 after receiving the necessary approval from the council.

Taylor Swift’s performance at Anfield is unique as it is the only football stadium in the UK that she will be performing at during her tour.

Following her shows at Anfield, Swift will continue her tour with performances at Murrayfield in Edinburgh, Wembley in London, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Liverpool FC have released details on Taylor Swifts Anfield performances.

Taylor Swift will perform at Anfield Stadium on Thursday 13th, Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June 2024.

For those with tickets, your entry point will be determined by your ticket?

The turnstile that is shown on the ticket is where ticket holders must enter.

Early Entry gates are open at 15:00hrs and General gates is at 16:00hrs, the show is due to begin at 18:15hrs.

Concert goers are encouraged to not arrive at the Stadium before the time stated on their ticket.

Anfield Stadium is located in a densely populated neighborhood, making it inappropriate for overnight camping or advance lines.

Concert goers make are to make sure they arrive at the stadium no earlier than the time and date specified on your ticket – and one can be asked to comeback at a more appropriate time should they arrive early.

On children, Liverpool FC state:

“Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 years or over.  LFC reserves the right to remove any child, who in the opinion of LFC, appears to be under 16 years of age and unaccompanied.”

Liverpool FC have already made it clear that there are looking forward to the concert, and are surely set to net a tidy profit as owners of the venue:

“Bringing world class acts to the city of Liverpool we feel is important,” Liverpool FC commercial director Ben Latty said.

“Having them play at an iconic stadium such as Anfield is perfect for us as a football club but also for the city.”

“For us it means that Anfield is a venue that is used for more than just the football season.”

“Hopefully with the big acts that we have got it proves beneficial for not only the fans of the artists but also the local community as well.”
