Liverpool will erupt in a sea of red on Monday as the club hosts its first league title parade in 35 years, marking a long-awaited celebration for fans denied the chance to revel in their 2020 triumph due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The 15-kilometer procession through the city center promises to be one of the largest public gatherings in Merseyside history, with an estimated 750,000 to 1 million supporters expected to line the streets.

The open-top bus parade will begin at 2:30 PM BST from Allerton Maze, traveling north along Queens Drive before winding through key landmarks including Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, concluding at Blundell Street near the docks.

The route mirrors previous celebrations in 2019 (Champions League) and 2022 (FA Cup and League Cup), ensuring familiarity for longtime supporters.

City officials anticipate the procession will last 3–5 hours, with rolling road closures implemented to accommodate crowd safety.

Major arteries like The Strand and Leeds Street will be closed from early morning until evening, prompting authorities to urge fans to use public transport.

Captain Virgil van Dijk has asked supporters to create an “even more crazy” atmosphere than the 2019 Champions League parade:

“We know how special our fans are and what these moments mean to them,” van Dijk said.

“We want it to be even more special, and we want to share it with every single person who has supported us along the way,”

Now the club has revealed that a digital parade map is available for all Reds fans who want take a look at the route in more detail:

Liverpool City Council has collaborated extensively with local businesses and residents to keep everyone informed about the event and any potential disruptions.

Supporters are advised to plan their journeys in advance—walking or cycling to the parade route is recommended where possible, and those using public transport should check for the latest timetable updates before travelling.

With the city expected to be exceptionally busy not only on Monday but throughout the weekend, patience and careful planning will be essential.

For fans unable to attend in person, the parade will be streamed live on LFCTV GO, as well as the club’s official YouTube, Facebook, X, and TikTok channels.

Additionally, UK viewers can watch the celebrations on Sky channel 425 and Virgin Media, ensuring everyone can join in the festivities from home.
