Away from the pitch, the 25-year-old is in a happy relationship with Ailén Cova, who regularly shares updates from their lives on Instagram.



Ailén made the trip to Bergamo last night to watch the Reds and shared a snap of Mac Allister on the pitch along with a message of support.

The Reds' last win in the league came during a 3 - 1 win against Sheffield United when a Mac Allister thunderbolt swung the game back in the team's favour.

The number 10 has arguably been the team's best player during this calendar year and his outstanding performances were rewarded this week when he was named the most recent Standard Chartered Player of the Month.
