After a promising Liverpool start, Bobby Clark is attracting strong interest as he plans his next step this summer.
Clark made his senior Liverpool debut as a substitute in the famous 9–0 win over Bournemouth in August 2022 and went on to feature 14 times for the Reds before moving permanently last summer.
The 20-year-old made the switch to Red Bull Salzburg to work under former Reds assistant Pep Lijnders, in a deal that saw Liverpool secure a £10 million fee, a 17.5% sell-on clause, and first refusal if he moves again.
The move was designed to give Clark more senior football in a familiar setup, but Lijnders’ unexpected departure quickly changed that plan.
Clark struggled for minutes under new management and played just 20 minutes across Salzburg’s final 11 games of the season.
Despite making 25 appearances overall — 17 in the league, 6 in the Champions League and two in domestic cups, scoring once and assisting twice.
With Salzburg now ready to listen to offers, interest in the talented midfielder is building fast.

DaveOCKOP reports that up to 15 clubs are monitoring Clark’s situation as he considers a move this summer.
Several clubs in England are among those keeping tabs, including Southampton, Sunderland, Leicester City, West Brom, and Birmingham City
Eintracht Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg are said to be interested from Germany, while Rangers, Slovan Bratislava, Chicago Fire, Al Ettifaq, FC Copenhagen, Red Star Belgrade and Al Wahda have also linked to Clark.
Speaking to the Chronicle in April, Clark’s father Lee admitted that a return to the UK would “probably” be the preferred next step after “a lot of ups and downs” in Austria.
Wherever he goes, Clark will hope to find the minutes and trust he needs to get his development back on track.
Liverpool could still benefit if a deal goes through, thanks to the sell-on clause agreed when he left Anfield.
