One of Liverpool’s brightest academy prospects is attracting strong interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

Kieran Morrison, the 18-year-old midfielder, has caught the attention of several clubs with his impressive performances at the youth level.

Morrison is highly rated at Liverpool, having joined from Manchester United at U14 level.

Liverpool moved to secure his future with a professional contract in April 2024, reportedly running until 2027, but growing interest from elsewhere may now influence the next steps in his career.

Wolves are reportedly the favourites to sign Morrison, standing out among several Premier League and European clubs that have expressed strong interest in the talented midfielder, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Understand Wolves have now approached Liverpool for 18-year-old highly rated talent Kieran Morrison.”

“Wolves have genuine interest, as he’s on their shortlist with more clubs around Europe also keen.”

This shows Wolves’ serious interest in Morrison and suggests that a move there could offer him a clearer pathway to regular first-team football.

Whether he stays to fight for a breakthrough at Anfield or seeks opportunities with Wolves or clubs across Europe, Morrison’s journey will be one to watch in the coming days.
