He joined RB Leipzig but struggled to nail down a regular starting spot before moving to Championship side Hull City in January.

Carvalho has scored nine times in 19 appearances with his goals pushing Hull into play-off contention.

“Obviously I want to break into the Liverpool first-team squad, into the starting XI as well.
For now, I’m focused on Hull City and getting promoted.
I’m going to see how pre-season turns out and then we’ll make a decision (on my future) after that.”
Carvalho has shone in a No.10 role for Hull and admits that is his favored position, having struggled to fit into Klopp's 4-3-3 system during his time at Anfield.
