Liverpool have moved closer to appointing Arne Slot as their new manager after reportedly agreeing a compensation package with Feyenoord.
Slot is widely expected to replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.

Klopp then endorsed the appointment on Friday, saying: “What I like a lot about it is if he is the one then he wants to take the job – he’s desperate, excited, let’s go for it.
