For Liverpool fans who wanted a bit of a breather from transfer news after the Milos Kerkez news, it seems that the club has other plans.
The Merseyside giants have already secured priority signings in Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, and the Hungarian fullback.
But it seems the club are not resting on their laurels.
Football Insider has reported that have reached an agreement to sign Blackpool’s highly rated academy prospect Gabriel Schluter for a six-figure fee, with the 16-year-old set to undergo a medical on Merseyside next week.

Schluter operates primarily as a left-sided midfielder or winger.
Standing at 1.78 m and comfortable on his right foot, he has progressed strongly through Blackpool’s youth ranks in recent years.
He was the under-15 Players’ Player of the Year in 2023/24.
In November 2024, he scored twice in the FA Youth Cup against Stockport County.
Later that month, he made his senior debut in an EFL Trophy fixture against Liverpool Under-21s at Bloomfield Road, coming off the bench.
