Liverpool has reportedly agreed a £12.5million ($16.8M) sale of Caoimhin Kelleher with to Brentford.
The goalkeeper has been vocal on his desire to leave the Reds this summer and, with a year left on his contract, it has been widely expected that he will move ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas has claimed that a fee has been agreed between the sides for a £12.5M deal, adding that bonuses could bring the price up to £18M ($24,2M).
That is significantly lower than the price reported this week, with several outlets stating the Reds will demand a fee northwards of £25M ($33.7M).
The 26-year-old, who came through Liverpool's youth ranks, has just a year remaining on his contract.
Hence the need to sell this summer, as it will offer the final chance for the club to receive a significant transfer fee for Kelleher.
With Giorgi Mamardashvili set to arrive from Valencia this summer, Liverpool's long-standing no.2 could find himself as third choice if he were to remain at Anfield next season.
As for Brentford, its desire to secure a new goalkeeper has been enhanced given that goalkeeper Mark Flekken is reportedly set to join Bayer Leverkusen.
Sky Sports states the player is even "ready to undergo a medical".
Kelleher had previously been linked with moves to Leeds United, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Manchester United.
The plethora of clubs underlines the quality of the Liverpool stopper.
